About us

Harjun Kukka is a flower shop and florist service in Helsinki. Our store is located on Fleminginkatu, on the edge of Karhupuisto, in the heart of Helsinki's Kallio. Our flower shop cooperates with several local brick-and-mortar businesses. For our part, we want to maintain a living urban culture and local services.

We also want to promote the change of the flower industry to more sustainable operating models. Our selection includes domestic flowers and cut flowers grown in nearby areas, depending on the season's possibilities. In the summer, we grow cut flowers for sale on a small scale in our own garden, and we use natural materials in our binding work. We have been operating in the field for more than five years - zero loss principle. We only order flowers as needed and dry the remaining cut flowers for further use. We use recyclable or recycled materials in our binding work and as packaging materials.
